He was nice

It's a busy ER. He's a fast doc that knows his stuff. Identified my blood clot and treated me right away. I'd take fast and smart over friendly and clueless any day.

Horrible bedside manner and didn't order the tests needed to diagnose what was wrong. Didn't come back in at all after realizing he messed up. Strongly recommend a different doctor!

I went to the ER and Dr Holder saw me within 2 minutes, ordered X-rays, and returned immediately with good news and bed news. Good that the bloody laceration on my shin was only that, not a compound fracture, do I was not going to surgery. Bad news was 2 fractures and would require at least 6 weeks of healing. I was out and headed home in 2 hours. His complete diagnosis was upheld by the Orthopedic specialist I saw afterwards. I received excellent care and Dr Holder was thorough and compassionate. He did not coddle me, but I was there for emergency care, not looking for a friend. Top notch doctor, and staff.

The doc treated my daughter and me. He was fast, nice, and easy to talk to. He is one serious doc. He just needs to chill a little, but the ER was busy so I understand.

doc was the bomb. dislocated my shoulder and he fixed it fast without knocking me out. in and out only took 2 hours. that was a record. this is third time I have done it. the nurses and the doc were the best. doc and xray guy was cool too.

I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain. I had already been seen at the Texas Medical Clinic. They were unsure what was wrong and advised me to go immediately to The Methodust Transplant ER. When I got there, I was worried. There were so many patients in the waiting room. I could barely tell the nurse what was wrong because I felt so bad. Dr. Holder saw in in the waiting room. He took me immediately back to a room. I was immediately given pain relief. Within less than an hour, he was back and explained the CAT scan show I had a blockage I. My bowel and would need surgery. I can't say enough about this young doctor. This ER looks tough. While I was there, I saw many crazy out of control other patients yelling obscenities. There were police everywhere. In the bed beside mine, I heard Dr. Holder explain that he would not give pain medicine to because he was worried the patient was addicted to pain medicine. The patient immediately began cursing and attacked Dr. Holder. Security… showed up to stop the patient. Later, the police arrived and arrested the patient in the ER! Right before I went to surgery, A very tired looking Dr. Holder came back in and apologized. I asked about the crazy man that was taken away in handcuffs. He said he could not discuss the case, but he said that the ER saw a lot of psych people and many people addicted to pain medication. He said he did his best, but it was sometimes a tough place to work. I thanked him. I thanked him for taking good care of me and tolerating all those mean people the world has forgotten about. I will never forget him. He said he always tried his best and smiled. I am so lucky. This is MY ER for life.

Although young this is one doctor with no compassion. He does not believe patient's complaints nor does he believe in making his patient's comfortable. He will not hesitate to run every test under the sun but you can forget about receiving any pain control. Even with a broken bone he ordered benadryl saying it was for the pain. The er staff said don't bother to ask because all he gives is benadryl or if you complain after that he will try to knock you out with some drug called haldol...this is an anti-psychotic not a pain medicine. The hospital and the healthcare field push for a patient right to have pain controlled but apparently he is not held to this.
