Dr. Hwang performed an endoscopy on my 84 year old husband after he had a PET scan showing a mass in his stomach. After the procedure, Dr Hwang came to tell us that they indeed found a tumor, but put us at ease that it was not stomach cancer. He explained that he had taken tissue for a biopsy and results would determine if any further treatment would be needed. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant.

Terrible office!! Poor communication. Hard to get appointments- 2 months with no return call. Failed test- no one called to discuss next step. Office staff was rude when I called them. Cancelled next procedure and two days later get an email to confirm appointment. Called again to cancel and next day got a voice communication to confirm appointment with no option NOT to confirm appointment. Doctor seemed nice on the phone, but the rest is terrible. Will find another surgeon. There are many to choose from in this area.

I'm a 57 year old male, I have been putting off a Colonoscopy Screening procedure due to the fear of being anesthetized. I'm sure the Doctor and the staff at Gastroenterology Consultants of Greater Lowell sensed this. Doctor Hwang and the staff made me feel comfortable and after listening to them explain how the anesthesia works I was more at ease. Thank you Dr. Hwang and the staff members for all you did for me.
