Dr. Allen F Kossoy, MD

Doctor is careful and methodical in his care and treatment of me. While. I was seeing him he was fully focused on me.

Long waits, very little interaction, rude staff, poor follow up

THE SLOWEST DR. I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. NEVER ON TIME. SO INCONSIDERATE. ...WE NEVER EVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND.

He has terrible bed side manner. So rude. And you always wait hours to see him. He knows his stuff though so I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons.

Was treated terrible by him and his staff while going through a difficult time myself.

Dr. Kossoy is an extremely nice guy who has incredible bedside manner with my 2yr. daughter. She usually hates Dr. exams, but we didn't have any problems with Dr. Kossoy, even through allergy testing. Yes the wait is usually long, but we have learned so much about asthma and how to better care for our daughter. We usually see him at the Wamego outreach clinic.

This Dr is a jerk and a not very nice person. I would not recommend him to anyone and i dont understand how he keeps a client list in two different offices. Do not take a child to him. I had a death in my family the day before my appointment. I called 18 hour before the appt. to reschedled. I was charged a $75 cancelation fee, even though i rescheduled. When i went to rescheduled appointment he lectured me for canceling. He didnt listen to any of my medical history. he didnt do any test that my primary requested. I found a different dr.

Total waste of time and money. Dr. K has the typical MD complex, his time is worth more than anyone else's and how dare someone question him about anything? After all, he is an all-mighty doctor. After repeating the EXACT same tests our primary phy. had already done he had the nerve to tell me that my regular dr. "doesn't know how to read the results" when I asked him why I couldn't just see my regular dr. What??? They did the exact same test in their office, I'm pretty sure they knew how to read it. Oh and that meant I had to pay TWICE for the same test. Then, at our next appointment, left me waiting in the exam room for an HOUR with a 2 yr old, without even sending a nurse in to check on us or tell us what was taking so long. After I tracked down the nurse on my own she told me he was "transcribing" and would be in shortly. I guess that is more important to him than his patients. When I approached him about the wait he was very smug and blew me off. I then was told to make an… appointment in 6 months, but the nurse's computer was not working so NO APPOINTMENT WAS MADE, yet, I get a nasty letter in the mail and a bill for $25 for not showing up to an appointment I never had! I complained to the clinic, who told me they would get back to me in a week, and after 2 months and many phone calls later, they send a letter saying that I should get over it and pay for everything. What a scam!!!!
