Dr. Allen Leroy Thomsen, DDS

I had to have most of my upper jaw re-built with bone grafts and then dental implants. Since this was a very complicated project, I visited most of the Oral Surgeons and Restorative Dentists in the Omaha area before making a final decision on the treatment plan and the physicians to execute that plan. I decided to have Dr. Harold Tu perform the surgeries and Dr. Allen Thomsen to perform the restoration. You could not find a better team! Unlike some offices, each of these professionals properly diagnosed the problem, predicted the potential problems,, then executed a flawless plan. While there are many other Dental Professionals in the Omaha area, I would highly recommend Dr. Thompsen for any of your dental needs. He is the best!

Doctor Thompsen helped with my dental implants and made teeth accordingly. He is a man that I have great respect for and whenever I need work done I will drive the 160 miles to see him and noone else. His manner is sometimes a little tough but he is looking out for what is best for his patient and I have full trust in him and his staff. Great man and dentist.

My experience was negative from the start. I went in to have an upper tooth looked at and Dr. Thomsen gave a "plan" for taking care of my teeth that well exceed $5k. He convinced me I needed a root canal on a tooth that didn't even bother me to begin with. But he said it would eventually and I should do it before he crowned it. I got the root canal from another provider. and experienced a lot of pain. I told thomsen about the pain but he crowned the tooth anyway. Now, several months later and much pain and agony, I had to have the tooth pulled (by a separate oral surgeon). This is after I spent over $2k out of pocket and now I have to pay for the surgeon! Ridiculous! Never again will I allow a dentist to perform work on a tooth that isn't even bothering me. I am still in excruciating pain months later. I believe I was completely taken advantage of.
