Dr. Allison Lynn Barnes, MD

2023 update: Do NOT go to Dr. Barnes. She injected me with an overdose of cortisone directly into my cluneal nerve. This caused necrosis, permanent muscle atrophy and fatty tissue atrophy, along with permanat severe nerve damage. I went back to her mutiple times begging for help. She refused to help or send me to a specialist because she knew she caused permanent and severe damage. She changed my medical records and wouldn't release them until it was too late. She has since moved offices multiple times to try to run from her medical malpractice. I hate to tell you Dr. Barnes but this life long injury you caused me will stay with you and I for the rest of our lives. Update 2022: Dr. Barnes managed to ruin my entire physical wellbeing with one cortisone shot that she had no business administering. I am still in pain every single day of my life. Although it has been several years since Dr. Barnes destroyed my cluneal nerve with a cortisone shot she injected into my right lower back. I… still have to see a neurologist once a month. I still have to do physical therapy a few times a month. I still have trouble walking and driving. I still have burning, throbbing, stabbing, firework pain where the injection site is. That pain travels across my back, butt and right leg. It has been years and because of what Dr. Barnes did to me my life will never ever be the same. I live with severe chronic pain now because of what she did. Stay as far away from this physicality and Dr. Barnes as you can. Dr. Barnes injected me with a cortisone shot. She was not trained to administer these types of injections and ended up causing a ton of medical issues. She had no idea what she was doing. She ended up hitting my cluneal nerve. The shot burned going in and I asked her to stop but she put the whole shot in any way. With in two weeks necrosis started to take place in the injection site. Shortly after that muscle atrophy, and fat atrophy. I went back to her begging for help on multiple occasions but she refused to send me to a specialist. I now have permanent nerve damage and a whole in my body where the injection was placed. I tried to file a law suit against Dr.Barns and this office. Unfortunately they wouldn't release my records for months!!! After we received the records it was clear Dr Barns had gone in a changed several documents. There were sign in dates that can confirm that information. She ruined my career, and ruined my body for the rest of my life. She is a criminal and should of had her license taken away. But instead she got away with medical malpractice and fraud. DR. BARNES I HOPE YOU READ THIS. YOU DESERVE TO BE IN JAIL FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME.

I recently became a patient of dr. barnes. I was concerned since I saw the below review but this Dr. barnes does not do any injections so I was happy to see I think they got the wrong doctor in that other review. I was so impressed with how thorough she was and took so much time with me which is so rare these days. She spent almost an hour and a half with me on my visit and I didn't feel rushed. the staff is also very nice and friendly. overall a wonderful experience.

I truly felt listened to by Dr. Barnes, I didn’t feel rushed and felt she took the appropriate amount of time to address my concerns.

I love Dr. Barnes. She is so sweet and caring. Very kind and knowledgeable as well. Always professional and takes the time to explain in detail.

I am over the moon to have found Dr. Barnes again! She had left her old office and they wouldn't tell me where she went. I searched and could not find her. I was so happy to find her because she is the best doctor in Florida! She has helped me so much over the last 5 years with my weigh, cosmetics , and diabetes issues. I am so so excited.
