Dr. Allison Bergdoll grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana.Â
She attended Valparaiso University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biology and was also an associate in the honors program.  Dr. Bergdoll went on to earn her dental doctorate degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she finished first in her class. She was honored with prestigious awards, such as the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Outstanding Student Award, the Chancellor's Scholar Award, the Alpha Omega Scholarship Award, and the Cyril S. Carr Dental Student Research Award. Dr. Bergdoll completed her specialty residency in orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned her Masters of Science degree with her thesis entitled, "Icon Caries Infiltrant Resin and MI Paste Plus for the Treatment of White Spot Lesions." She successfully completed the Phase I and II written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics in April …2009. She maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside of the office Dr. Bergdoll enjoys running, biking, swimming, diving, camping, and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, Ryan and their beautiful children, Keira and Elliott.
