Dr. Allison E Brown, MD

I could only find a single review for Dr. Brown on the entire Internet, which was a negative one-star review that I should have heeded instead of giving this practice the benefit of the doubt. Instead of Dr. Brown, I was seen by her nurse practitioner (her husband), Joshua Brown. Joshua is tattoo'd up like a member of a biker gang, certainly not the kind of image that would give the average person confidence about receiving professional medical care. Nonetheless, I completed the visit with the result being that I would receive a complete blood panel at a local third-party medical lab. That's where my medical care from Dr. Allison Brown's office ended. In a situation similar to that of the other one-star reviewer of Dr. Brown's office, the office never followed up to arrange the labwork I needed. I wasted an afternoon visiting Dr. Brown's office, then another afternoon a few days later in a lab, only to be told after waiting a considerable amount of time that the doctor's office had… neglected to send over an order for my lab work. As of today, a week later, Dr. Brown's office has gone incommunicado with me, and they only have an answering service - no way to contact their office directly... "don't call us, we'll call you." I guess if your goal is to simply get in and speak with a doctor or nurse practitioner, Dr. Brown's office might be right for you. But if you are seeking medical care, a prescription, or any kind of treatment, I would highly urge you go elsewhere. Obviously, neither your time nor your health is of any concern to this "medical practice".
