Dr. Allison Buell Douglas, MD

Dr. Douglas has cared for both my husband and me for over 15 years. She has also provided care for other family members. I find Dr. Douglas and her nurse to be very caring and professional in providing medical care , especially during these trying times. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a primary care physician.

I love Dr. Allison Douglas. Yes she does run late on her appoints sometimes, but she always is very attentive to all my questions etc. Would not think of using anyone else. She and her nurse Shelia take care of me. They are great.

i have used Dr. Douglas for many years I would not change She has always went out of her way to see that my needs are meet. I wished I had more time to tell you all how much I think of her and the staff they are there to help you in in way they can.

I have seen Dr. Douglas since she started her practice. I am the wife of a Physician and am very critical when it comes to health care, particularly my own. She has managed my healthcare in a most competent and compassionate manner. When criticizing Dr. Douglas for her time management, I strongly urge patients to consider that she listens, and takes personal time with you, and if you wait she is taking care of another patient like she will take care of you. I recommend her highly.

I was in the hospital and she was covering for my pcp. She walked in my room with an attire because I had been seeing the endocrinologist in her practice for all of my medical issues & rx’s. Although I remained calm in my answers at one point she asked who my psychiatrist was! I don’t have one.. this was because my endo prescribed me Lexapro for mild depression associated with my diabetes. I will die in the street before seeing that woman again!

This doctor has a chronic time management problem. I have seen her 5 times and waited at least an hour on 4 of those visits. One visit was the first of the day and she was two hours late.

She is a great Doctor I would not change. The only thing is the time you have to wait to see her is too long. Something needs to be done for scheduling better. She is a concerned doctor and is patient with me. She explains my medical situations and I feel confident when I leave. I can always get an appointment when needed.
