Dr. Allison Beth Martin, MD

I've been experiencing severe headaches and I reached out to Dr. Allison via portal. She advised me to go to the dentist and follow-up on my dental care. At first, I was ok with her response. Then, I realized the pain was unbearable, I reached out to Dr. Allison again. She simply was dismissive and had NO CARE in the world. She told me to go to ER. She did not request me to come in. She did not order labs for a MRI or scan. She simply brushed me off. I would not recommend her services to no one. I feel at my worst and I thought my doctor will help aid me back together. Please do not waste your time. She does not care about you or your well-being. I've immediately changed my doctor!!!!!!!

Very bad at her job. Poor communication skills. lack of follow through. Just gets you in and out the office fast. Cha Ching Cha Ching. Too many bad experiences to list

This doctor has no personality and has a specialty for just writing orders or referrals to other doctors. I was shocked at the lack of care I received at Advocate.

Dr Martin shows an exceptional degree of caring for the patient and is very friendly and courteous during the visit. She takes time to ask questions, to analyze concerns, and to recommend remedies and corrective activities.

Not patient friendly

Dr. Martin is very pleasant and personable. She listens to her patients concerns and explains medical situations in a way that is easy to understand. She is thorough and gives great advice.

Dr Martin is a very professional yet sociable and friendly physician who makes one feel very much at ease. I have nothing but the greatest respect for her as my doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a general practitioner. She is a great role model for other physicians.

Dr. Martin is a very poor Doctor. She has no people skills. She is rude as well. I left her after 2 visits.

Can't help but wonder if she has a personality disorder herself. First time I seen her she was just down right rude. Second time she was a little better. Then as I was telling her about a co worker and I having same illness she referred to my co worker as a liar. I was shocked! I had to bite my lip to keep from telling her off. Maybe searching for another Dr. P

She switched my prescription from my regular doctors when I went to Urgent care without notifying me or explaining to me why she decided to do so. When I contacted her because I wasn't sure if I should take it she was very rude and told me that's " just the way she does it" and I never got any answers. When I simply explained that I should know while I'm in the office that she was switching it she huffed and puffed over the phone and basically told made me feel like I was " beneath her" and basically to take it or not. Advocate has been excellent up until this point. I'm shocked that this physician lacked so much bedside manner and I will second guess returning to this location
