Dr S is such a caring doctor. If you want a doctor who really listens and cares she’s the one .

I was a patient of Dr Herman Steinmetz for many years. She’s excellent and attentive.

Dr. Steinmetz has been my primary physician since 2012. She has been caring, kind, compassionate, making certain my sometimes complicated medical needs were met. This included referrals, tests, imaging, and always taking time to answer questions and explaining things to me.

We finally FIRED her. She's rushed, and often very short with us.....actually kinda rude and certainly lacks in bedside manner and compassion. It's hard to find a good doc up here and Barton is terribly expensive. We're convinced she's in the wrong profession....might be good with horses but certainly not people.

Verbally abusive, ignorant, never have any contact with her.

Not thorough at all. Cocky. I timed her on our last visit, and she spent 3 minutes with me, told me to go to the clinic, and changed me $176. I now drive to Carson City to see a doctor. Shame on you, Steinmetz.

Dr. Herman has been very helpful with my complicated medical needs, and quick to refer when needed. She is a good listener, and tailors treatment to what works best for me.
