Dr. Allison B.J. Tobey, MD, MD

To my surprise, Allison Toby turned out to be the worst doctor I have ever visited. They made me wait for 1 hour to see her, and another 1 hour for the sinus probing. Then she rushed very badly since by the time she was done it was after 5:00pm. Even though I provided all my medical records past CT scans -multiple of them showing chronic sinusitis, and sinus surgery report from Stanford hospital, she told me that I did not have sinusitis but sinus migrane. She explained that my left sided facial pain and left ear pain can only be explained by sinus migrane, which is different than migranes and would not cause headaches but facial pain like sinus infections! She must be right and the Stanford Hosptail ENT clinic doctors must be idiot for trying to treat me for chronic sinusitis for past 7 years.

I was nervous about my daughter having surgery even though I'm in the medical field. Added to that, our regular ENT couldn't perform the surgery. We met with Dr. Tobey a few days prior to the procedure and I immediately got a good feeling that only grew the day of the surgery. But I have to say, what impressed me most, was the phone call I got the day after my daughter's surgery. On a Saturday. From her home. Twelve years in nursing, and I have yet to meet a doctor who calls the day after just to check and see how a patient is doing, and asking if there are any questions or concerns. WONDERFUL!

Great doctor and surgeon. Performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction on me not too long ago with great results. Minimal swelling and a great fast recovery. Thank you so much for my new life of breathing!
