Dr Barker I"m in need of a new doctor as Dr Hanert is retiring. Dr Cary has treated my wife on several occasions and recommends you. Contracted COVID-pneumonia the summer-fall of 2024, was treated with antibiotics, the 3rd round helped clear of most of the congestion. Still had a recurring productive cough with phlegm, she referred me to a cardiologist even though I didn't have any heart related symptoms. the cardiologist's office sent me back to her suggesting steroids, she refused stating they wouldn't help my condition even though she couldn't tell me what was causing the problem. She sent me for a CT scan and COPD test and additional X-rays, per the doctor the COPD test-xray showed COPD or an infection. After not getting a response from her i went to the urgent care on the other side of town, they found no indication of COPD and recommended steroids. I took the steroids and they cleared up 90 % of the cough. Was told by doctor Barker if the cough didn't go away she would need to refer me to a pulmonologist. I requested a referral on Dec 17th, it's Dec 31st still no response. This all started back in Oct 24.
