Dr. Alma F Payumo

My teen daughter saw Dr. Payumo and she told her that she has 6 cavities. We got a second opinion from another dentist and my daughter did not have any cavities. Isn't that a fraud? So she can ruin my daughter's teeth and charge our insurance a lot of money.

Dr Alma Payumo is an intelligent and nice dentist, but, the office manager/supervisor, an Asian lady is very nasty, arrogant and money minded. She forces you to do expensive procedure even by providing inaccurate information making you believe it as compulsory. I can tolerate her being nasty or aggressive as long as medical work done right. But, she forces to do procedures which are un-necessary, expensive and technically unjustified. Unfortunately, Dr. Payumo don't have authority or she is not capable enough to counteract the supervisor's aggressive approach. Myself and my spouse changed the family dentist because of unsatisfactory practices. If Dr. Payumo could have worked somewhere else, if her supervisor was not in Dental Center of Texas, I would have rated this Dentist with close to maximum ratings.
