Dr. Alma Spears

Alma Spears is a bilingual (English, Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 5 years of experience. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couples to address their specific challenges to improve the quality of their lives. Alma is passionate about help the BIPOC community demystify therapy and advocate for equal access to quality services. Alma completed her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She is a naturalized US citizen and mother of two Black/Mexican children giving her the unique experience of relating to immigrants and the BIPOC community. Her personal and professional experiences provide her with the opportunity to build trust and rapport with clients seeking support and healing. Alma is trained in multiple treatment approaching including eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems therapy (IFST), and more.
