I have recently received ketamine treatments under the supervision of dr Banga at the Family Psychiatry Center in Elk Grove. Prior to the ketamine I suffered from severe anxiety and depression. After a series of ketamine treatments, I feel like a new person , have a more relaxed positive outlook on life. Ketamine allows a person to process their anxiety and fears and by doing so lifts the depression. The office staff Sandra and Ousa are so kind and welcoming every time I went to the office. Dr Alok Banga is a very caring competent psychiatrist who really knows his specialty of psychiatry. Ketamine is a very powerful and effective treatment for anxiety and depression.

Dr Banga always presents options that are well researched and supported in the Psychiatric Medical Community. I feel heard when expressing my symptoms and functioning, he follows up with questions and makes sure I have supports in place. His staff are always professional and helpful as well.

I have received Ketamine and Es-Ketamine treatment from Dr Banga. It had truly changed my life. For the first time in years I do not have suicidal thoughts. I had tried several medications and TMS before I saw Dr Banga for Ketamine treatment. He truly cares about his patients.

He has been very helpful to me. The office staff is very sweet and helpful as well.

Everything about this practice is great! The front desk staff is professional and ever so helpful. Their office is always sparkling clean, and Dr Banga is kind and competent. He helped me take control of my panic attacks by teaching me a form of exercise called " Interoceptive Therapy". Along with medicines he prescribed, and practicing this technique, my panic attacks have gone down from 2-3 a day to 1-2 a month. This is the best I have done in my entire adult years.

I was struggling with depression for several years. I am finally on a medication combination which has provided me about 70-80% symptom relief. He has patiently worked with me for the last 4 months, and has been genuinely helpful.

I was struggling with depression and mood symptoms for a while, and everyone kept giving me anti-depressants which never worked and in fact made me feel out of body. He correctly diagnosed and treated me for bipolar-depression. Once my mood was stable he treated me for ADHD as well. It has saved my marriage and my job.

He doesn't practice in CT anymore. We saw him at a hospital in Sacramento, CA where our daughter was admitted. He diagnosed her correctly and made her better in 2 weeks.
