Dr. Alon Mogilner, MD

Utterly unhelpful. Devoid of any compassion. I live with brutal chronic pain. But he simply wanted to book his appointment fee and do nothing. The hospitals are filled with uncaring, robotic "doctors" like Mogilner. They will never help except in those rare cases where failing to help risks a lawsuit. And since that's rarely the case they rarely help anyone.

Doctor and staff were very helpful and courteous .

I saw Dr Mogilner when no one else would see me i have Rsd/Crps and was literally in a wheelchair and bed bound. Dr M told me after insertion of 2 neurostimulators i would be up and walking which i doubted since i had tried everything but gave it a shot! Today i am up and functioning still have my stimulators! And am able to ambulate without walker or cane! I have gotten my life back! Yes i do have some bad days but my life is 90% better than it was!! Ty Dr M will never forget what you did for me!

Like anyone i was desperate for relief. i tried nuerostims and the pain pumps. I have lost count after 20 plus surgeries.. ive had many "complications" i am told now that most doctors after 1 or 2 failed surgeries would NOT KEEP doung surgeries on their patients. Regardless of benefits... i am now left with an abundant amount of scar tissue with no relief, cure or help.. i stongly believe that complications are from dr error, and yes greed!! Please rethink and get a second opinion if your surgery fails. I wish i did

All Moligner is interested in is filling his pockets! No bedside manner whatsoever. Pay very good attention because you ONLY see him on your way out. Nonetheless, the appt was scheduled for the doctor. The nurse practioner (who charges a separate bill )sees his patients. Review all your hospital and outpatient bills very carefully for any discrepancies. Beware! Research Research Research before proceeding with any procedure! This doctor is NOT WHAT HE HAS "PEOPLE" POSTING. Anybody can get 4 or 5 stars by asking everyone to take surveys ---really? Eventually the true rating will come out very soon!!!!!! Look out for them

Friendly and efficient staff who make the time to get to know their patients. Rarely much of a wait for a scheduled appointment. The Great Neck exam rooms are extremely cramped, and barely accommodate the patient, one companion and physician in the same room. Dr. Mogilner often thinks out loud and makes the time to cover all bases. He is very likeable and personable, with a friendly and professional bedside manner. Found him to err on the side of caution and take a conservative approach to surgical treatment options. Disappointed at the lack of follow up after surgery, but appointments for follow up care were easily granted.

I am very happy with Dr. Mogilner. Very easy to talk to, answered all of my questions, knows all of the new high-tech procedures. He basically saved my husband, when we felt like we had no other options left. I would, without a doubt recommend him. Plus, staff is also great to deal with, which also helps when times are rough.
