Dr. Alonzo Patrick Walker, MD

20 yrs ago Dr. Walker removed a rare (2 in a million incident rate) soft tissue tumor in my abdominal wall muscle that was growing fast (aggressive fibromatosis) & had potential to quickly invade surrounding organs. He knew from experience what he thought it was, although the scans gave 3 choices. He scheduled surgery asap, successfully removing what was prudent without disrupting the fascia lining around the muscle or surrounding organs. Radiation took care of the 3 positive margins left. He believes in listening to his patients. He did an excellent job, makes difficult decisions well.. because that is just who he is, a man of excellence and integrity. He came recommended as the best.. I kept running into people who said "He saved my life!" Mostly breast cancer patients. These people calmed my fears. I prayed a lot too... I felt blessed to have Dr, Walker as my Surgeon. He is compassionate, patient and although he is busy I never felt rushed. I had complete trust in my care with him. I most highly recommend him!!

Dr.Walker performed breast cancer surgery for my mom in 2oo6,he was very compassionate ,patient, and kind. He answered all of our questions and my mom was pleased. In 2008 I too had breast cancer so I knew just who to turn to and I do recommend him.
