Dr. Alton Glenn Tucker, MD

I've been a patient of Dr Tucker for over 20 years. He is the perfect primary care physician.

Dr. Tucker is super nice and very resonsible. He is very good. Almost all health problem can get good care from him. Ever since I have him as my primary doctor, I feel relaxed because I know I am in good hands.

You can get a perscription written but you can't get them to call it it to get filled. They have told me three times they were going to call it in right away. I go thru this every month

Dr. Tucker is a professional in his diagnoses, including giving medical advise, managing his medical staff and office, collecting and recording the patients' medical history, and prescribing. Dr. Tucker spent quality time with me during every visit. His setting up of appointments were an ease in obtaining: from time I called to the date and time I was seen. Other observations are worth noting that during my visits, I have personally seen people of every race and color, both male and female as well as young and the elderly. I consider these areas are the essential elements in rating physicians.

Moving from another state, it was very difficult for me to get situated with a new doctor. As soon as I walked through the door the staff was so kind! They greeted me, asked if I had any questions, and got back with me 3 days later with my test results. I've seen a lot of reviews saying that Dr. Tucker and his staff are horrible, but based on my experience, they've been nothing but great. I did notice a few patients who were really rude to the lady at the front, but she remained pleasant and professional. I am very glad to have made the decision to go to this office!

Been with Dr Tucker for over 25 years. Excellent diagnostician, caring, attentive. Why I started and stayed: he will tell you if he does not know something! Referrals are all excellent calibre. Unfortunately, over the time I have been with him, he has NEVER had a staff I felt I could trust.

Excellent staff, professional, efficient manners, kind and compassionate office. Dr. Tucker is intelligent, an effective communicator and through in his examinations. Our three family members are quite impressed as it is our first foray outside of Kaiser in twenty years.

I've been a patient with Dr. Tucker for over 10 years, and his office staff has gotten progressively worse over this time frame. They don't want/know the answer to simple questions. One major issue is they are rude and have no problem with leaving you on hold or bumping you from person to person. Dr. Tucker is excellent, but I've had to change doctors as I cannot stand dealing with his office staff/receptionist. It's apparently a common theme as over 2 dozen colleagues used Dr. Tucker over the years and have since left.

Until very recently his office staff even on the phone when trying to get an appointment, was horrible. However, I was just there this week. All new staff, getting an appointment was easy, i was not kept on hold, or asked to call back. His nurse this time was new as well. She was friendly, and professional. At one time I had thought about finding a new Dr, because of his nightmare office and nurse staff. Dr Tucker himself is in my opinion a very good DR. Diagnoses have been right on, treating me has been great, he listens, Very easy to talk to and understand.

Honest, caring and compassionate! He is all of this. He is the only person I will trust with the health of my family! He does not do what is not needed and can sometimes be brutelly honest. He cares for you for more then the "cash crop", you are HIS patient! He has earned my complete faith and trust.
