Dr. Alvaro Augusto Gomez, MD

My husband and I have both been seeing doctor Gomez for about 20 years. We really like him. He is warm and friendly, but very professional and highly experienced. He has taken excellent care of us. He would receive 5 stars, but the wait can be quite long.

100% approval, he does pay full attention to his patients’ condition and medical requirements. The best cardiologist, as to my own personal experience.

While Dr. Alvaro Gomez is a good Cardiologist, he has the bad habit of running a minimum of 2 1/2 to 3 hours late after appointment time, for elderly people this is very disturbing and often times results in their blood pressure rising; he is always in a rush and tunes out what the "elderly patient" is telling him, perhaps because he does not feel that much can be done for them; although very friendly and social we would much prefer that he was more serious , listen to what patient says and above all don't keep patient waiting 3 hours past the appointment time to see patient; this has happened to us every single time we have had an appointment with him.

Don`t trust this doctor, if you need a stress test he will send you out for it and he will not be present. If there`s something abnormal on the test results don`t expect him to call you.

Ifeel that DR Alvaro Gomez is an exceptional doctor, who gives his patients the best attention they deserve and gives them a feelling of trust, He is byfar the only chardiologist i would trust with my health.
