I had a nose job

Dr. Alvin gave me terrible chin implant that I had removed. I requested a small and he decided to insert an extra large implant which looked freaky. He is not a good listener and I think that it is time for him to retire.

I have been suffering with poor self esteem ever since he did my nose about 15 years ago. I had a symetrical bulbous nose and he gave me a lopsided nose with a dip in the bridge that wasn't there before. I haven't let anyone take my picture since he did this to me. I had wanted him to fix it but he told me he didn't think he could do anything about it. I went to another plastic surgeon in Red Bank who said there was only 50% he could make it better. After reading many reviews, I went to Dr Pontell in Pa who said he would be able to help me.

I am absolutely shocked that there were any negative reviews!!! Dr. Glasgold did a perfect rhinoplasty on me and I was a very challenging case. I have had 5 friends also who had their nose done by this profoundly caring physician. They are equally thrilled!!! I am in the medical profession and encounter many doctors who have nothing to say about this man than praise, praise , praise!! I have also heard him referred to as THE BEST FOR RHINOPLASTY AND RHINOPLASTY REVISION. For the those of you who are displeased, I feel perhaps you had unrealistic expectations about the surgery. That can be the ONLY plausible explanation.

He gives a ski slope nose to almost everyone. No creative vision whatsoever. He also completely destroyed my nose, and my septum is 100% more deviated than it ever was before the surgery, and he left me with a huge scar. I am shocked to see he has any good reviews at all! I am consulting with doctors now, 10 years after my surgery, to get a revision because he messed up my nose so bad. I'm extremely distraught by this and I would not recommend this surgeon to my worst enemy.

I had remembered seeing Dr. Alving Glasgold in New Jersey Monthly, and s one of the Top Surgeons in the East Coast. I remembered his name from reading about him. When I was looking for a plastic surgeon, I came across his name again and reached out to him. I spoke to one or two others on the phone but met Dr. Glasgold and I absolutely love him. He is very caring, and I'm going to say he operates from the heart. He really wants you to feel better about yourself. He is the surgeon who operates from the heart first. The Rhinoplasty was relatively easy. I expected more pain, more downtime, more discomfort and it wasn't bad at all. The only thing I'd say was a little bit of swelling that just in terms of looking at me that was really my only concern. I went back to work after a week. Other than that, it was fine. I was just telling Dr. Glasgold that I feel wonderful. I love the way I look. I wish I had it done years before.

My rhinoplasty with Dr. Alvin was a very positive experience. I waited a long time to fix something that bothered me my whole life and I shouldnt have waited. My fear kept me from fixing it, but maybe that was a good thing because maybe I wouldnt have come across Dr. Alvin if I fixed my nose 10 years ago. So Im happy I did it and it was a wonderful experience and I would do it all over again. He really is a wonderful, caring, talented doctor and I would tell anybody if theyre seeking any kind of surgery just to have a consultation and right when you walk in the door youll feel at ease and with his warm manner.

I was afraid about following through with the procedure for my rhinoplasty and mentoplastry at first. However Dr. Alvin Glasgold was able to ease all of my fears by answering all of my questions and thoroughly explaining the procedure to me. I decided to go through with the procedure after speaking with Dr. Glasgold and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions Ive ever made. I did not experience any pain at all. The only thing I could say about the recovery process was that it was uncomfortable sleeping upright. One of the great things about Dr. Glasgold is that he really cares about the patient and how they feel about themself. I never felt judged by him. I dont think Dr. Alvin Glasgold does this type of work for the financial gain. I think he genuinely does it from the heart because he understands how someones outward appearance can affect how they feel about themself. The results of my surgery look exactly how I wanted it to look. It looks natural and I look the same but… with a great improvement in my appearance. I dont feel self-conscious about the way I look anymore. I feel a lot more confident about myself since the surgery and I have Dr. Alvin Glasgold to thank for that. He is an amazing surgeon and a great man.

I love my nose! dr. glassgold is great it looks natural and I am so glad I didnt wait any longer to get it done! there is no such thing as a "perfect" nose job or nose I think some people are impossible to please. Look on his website at his before and after pictures especially the AFTER surgery pictures!! those pictures are there for a reason to see his work BEFORE you go to him. he showed me what my nose would look like on digital imaging and it looks exactly how he said it would and I love it

Dr. Alvin Glasgold is a wonderful man. He is just a wonderful man who took time to explain and go over my procedure and he made sure that I was comfortable and hes just a gentle professional. You dont find people like him anymore where its an art. Hes an artist, but he is also a caring professional. And you dont find that anymore.
