Dr. Alvin Deaund Pelt, MD

I received treatment from Dr. Pelt for well over a decade & I suffer from both physical & mental issues, very complicated & compounding. The level of skill, patience, attentiveness, empathy, & knowledge he had has by far been superior to any other dr in any other field I've personally ever experienced. He is passionate about what he does & genuinely cares about you & your progress. He had me in full recovery for well over a decade. The only reason I am not a patient of him now is because he retired from his position after serving there for what I believe to be least a couple decades. I have still never found another doctor like him & the healthcare field is sorely lacking today. I do not know if it's the new schooling or new laws that has had such a stark contrast to the way they offer treatments compared to the treatment I received under Pelt. Or maybe it's that he was one of a kind even after retiring from those positions he went on to teach his incredible skills to students at the… Ohio State University. I pray he got through to those students because we really need more drs like him. I know if I had him as my doctor today I would be in full recovery even now but ever since losing him, my life has never been the same. I truly with all my heart regret not being able to be his patient. This dr saved my life & taught me everything I know about what was happening to me. I did not know there were names for what I was experiencing. If any one of you out there ever get an opportunity to be a patient of this doctor- I implore you to give him a try. I tell you the truth, he is authentic, genuinely cares about his patients & will do whatever he can within his power to take on even the most complicated of situations with skill, professionalism, empathy, & determination. I wasn't an easy patient & he never gave up on me. He never pushed me off or slammed the door shut in my face like so many others have done since I lost him. I assure you- you will not find another doctor like him. I have been trying now for years & am in tears literally because of the stark contrast between his treatment & what I receive from others. I'd give anything to still be a patient of his & I know I'd be in full recovery now if I were. Thank you Dr. Pelt- God bless you.

Great Doc, he cares

He's a great doctor.

Dr. Pelt has kept my friend addicted to Suboxone for more than 5 years. When trying to come clean from it, he refuses. He upped the dosage instead. Dr. Pelt is also known to me in the community. He is all about the money. So if you want to stay addicted, this is your man!

Had to see this Doctor for an assessment. The assessment clearly stated some specific things for this doctor to address. He did not address the two issues. Then...charged me another $150 office visit to fix his error by omission!!

ever hear of Ibogaine ! it cures addiction and you dr pelt continue to shovel methodone down addicts throats. ibogaine- if you dont already know is an all natural cure for opiate addiction. as a so-called addiction specialist i would think you would know about this and advocate for its use... but you never will because you need addicits to keep your business booming...prove me wrong--- show me that you care for addicts by replying to this post. methadone just delays the inevitable, withdrawel............as does suboxone.......i want to quit more than anyone will ever know and have been searching for help for about 3 years now.... its sad to find out that there is something that could help to cure me and no one even knows about it. if it was available in the U.S.A you probably fear you would lose patients.... oh no people getting cured! your worst nightmare!comp drug sucks too!i was there for less than 3 months when i was booted for smoking pot..i was clean from dope and you… booted me for weed! everyone who ive told cant believe it....so man up Pelt, reply to this if you have the stones. -a very unhappy former client.......
