I had a colonoscopy procedure today. My review rating us not based off the colonoscopy. The rating is for the treatment before & after the colonoscopy. The receptionist: booked a patient in my time slot & verbally & wrote the wrong time to stop eating solids. The nurse that called the day before the colonoscopy stated I should stop eating solids after lunch & to arrive 30mins earlier than the receptionist stated. A 3rd person called me the day before & told me to come in an hour before the procedure. Neither person talks to one another because the 2nd & 3rd person asked the same questions from the forms I already accomplished. The day of the procedure, not one person asked me when was my last meal or when did I start taking Golytely BUT the doctor came out telling me what time I did everything & when I told him that is not true & told him his receptionist messed up, he called me a liar about what she wrote & what I was told & he did this while walking away. Also they wanted to give a… 4th answer stating to stop solids 24hrs prior to your procedure AFTER the procedure was done. Timetable:Once the nurse told me the receptionist written time was wrong, I got up & ate lunch immediately. An hour later at 230pm I started the Golytely. It took over 6hrs for the Golytely to start working. I told this to the intake personnel, anesthesiologist & nurse prior to the procedure. I told them my body doesn't react to drugs how the majority does sometimes. NOTE: Not one patient EVER likes you to compare themselves to other people. This staff has never met me and doesn't know my body/drug reaction history. When you don't know someone, then you have no clue on how their body's defenses will react. I am use to my body doing the opposite at times, so it's not a surprise to me BUT since this was my very 1st time, I didn't have historical data on Golytely drug & my body. This is a lesson learned for me. This staff made inaccurate assumptions instead of simply asking me about ME. I thought this was very rude & unprofessional behavior. I will get my future procedures done elsewhere.

Had me to come in for an unnecessary appointment and when I complained, he said "this is the only way you get to talk to me". I knew I did not need to be there but his Assistant insisted. He told me nothing different, said he could not figure out why I was there. I am convinced that this was about getting extra money from me and my insurance company. Good Doctor but if this is how they operate, I don't appreciate it. Shame on them!
