Dr. Alycia Moore Brown, MD

Honestly could not have asked for a better doctor. I have never felt more challenged to work towards feeling better and I feel so heard when I see Dr. Brown. I drive an hour each way for 10-minute appointments and they are completely worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Brown.

My daughter (15 years old) was hospitalized for suicidal ideation, and the hospital made an appointment for her to see Dr. Brown after being discharged. Dr. Brown's office called us to cancel that appointment, because the Dr. was going on vacation. When the date we rescheduled the appointment came, our daughter was sick with the flu. We tried to call and reschedule, but the incredibly callous and rude receptionist told us they would not reschedule her. It would count as a missed appointment, and the doctor would refuse to see her. How hypocritical - to reschedule an initial appointment because the doctor was on vacation, but refuse to do so because the patient was sick? How callous and uncompassionate could this doctor be, to rigidly cling to a policy rather than care for a scared troubled girl? If you're considering a doctor, especially for an adolescent, look elsewhere. Dr. Alycia Brown doesn't care.

Terrible. From the 1st visit she was oddly judgmental of me, my family history and even calling my former psychiatrists "stupid". What she did not vocally demean she showed her distaste for through body language and facial expressions. She acts as a know-it-all but really is inexperienced, ignorant and closed minded. I could see dishonest patients who want to play the victim favoring her as she would gladly judge everyone for them. If you really need help do not go to her. The office staff is unfriendly and cold.

Dr. Brown has taken a true interest in my health. She has a great bedside manner and shows that she cares about my health. I wish all dr showed the same compassion.
