Dr. Alyn Robinson Caulk, MD

Absolutely wonderful, caring doctor. Spends the necessary time to get to know her patients and diagnose their ailments. She was my PCP at Boone Clinic for a few years, when I had Prime. Wish I could still see her.

Dr Caulk took excellent care of me during my time at Boone Clinic. She took her time it was completely thorough.

I had my first and hopefully last appointment with Dr. Caulk today. I told her that I was having an extremely hard time losing weight post pregnancy. I explained to her that I eat healthy and workout regularly, Ive done everything I can think of to lose weight over the past 3 years and have had no success. She then proceeded to call me a 'big woman' said i had big bones and said the only way I will lose weight is if i eat like a bird and do strictly cardio. Showed no compassion, seemed like she was in a giant rush and was so rude. I cried the entire ride home.

Shes been a doctor for 30 years and needs to retire soon. She does not like people.

I have seen dr caulk on at least 3 occasions, mostly pertaining to contraception. At first she seemed nice enough and gave me info about various birth control methods, but she didn’t listen to my concerns based on my previous experience with contraception. About a year later I visited her again, and mentioned I no longer use hormonal contraception because I had horrible side effects. She told me the side effects I had couldn’t possibly be because of the BC and that I just needed to “be more mindful”. She then berated me by asking my marital status, my financial status, and my occupation because I was only 20 and said I was going to become pregnant soon and I was “incredibly irresponsible” because I refused to take the birth control. Three years later and without any hormonal contraception, I still have not fallen pregnant thanks to FABMs. Dr caulk is disrespectful, ignorant, and close minded. There is no way she specializes in family planning or contraception. Forgot to mention… that she neglected any sort of physical exam during my annual women’s check because “I’m young and healthy” and she wanted me out the door ASAP. She said that to me two years in a row. I only kept going to her because military insurance and I needed the referrals. Don’t see her, if you can help it.

Extremely rude, and not very knowledgeable even though she has been a doctor for 30 yrs. never going to get again!!!!
