Dr. Alysandra Lal, MD

Hearing the words "breast cancer" is really scary, but my experience with Dr. Lal was excellent. She is very caring and very knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all my questions, and was encouraging of my choice to have a double mastectomy, even though only one breast was diagnosed with cancer. She understood my decision to not have reconstruction, and made every effort to give me a flat outcome. Post surgery visits have been easy to schedule, and Dr. Lal continues to be responsive and kind. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Lal is a skilled surgeon who demonstrates professionalism in the operating room as well as with her patients. She has the ability to make you feel as if your health is the most important concern at the moment.

Dr. Lal is very knowledgeable and a great surgeon but her compassion and bedside manner is beyond belief for a doctor these days. She is very responsive and on top of things - even called me one evening to give me lab results when she was on vacation! Not many doctors in this day and age who would do that! Her skill level is extremely high and she is just genuinely a nice person. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their doctor.

Dr. Lau gave me professional and gracious care when I was in the hospital with a potentially critical abdominal problem. She inspired great confidence in me at the first meeting and throughout my stay. A few weeks later I asked her to review a document regarding a related situation. I was grateful for her kind response and her M.A.'s prompt communication.

Dr. All performed the Whipple procedure on me ..having pancreatic cancer was very difficult for me until I met with Dr. Lal. After discussing the surgery and checking the Drs. Experience, I knew I was with the right doctor and I was right. The surgery was successful and five years later I am doing great. Great Doctor

Top tier. Top drawer. Whichever superlatives you can dredge up.....they apply. People skills over the top. Shows genuine concern for her patient. She performed a very high risk procedure on me and all went well. I doubt an FBI and/or CIA grid search could find a more qualified surgeon anywhere in the world. Highly recommended

DR Lal performed the whipple procedure on me for pancreatic cancer, four years and I'm doing great.

I am a middle aged patient of hers that needed surgery. Dr. Lal is very compassionate, bright, thorough and has the best bed side manner of any Dr. I have ever gone to. Her patient doctor interaction is wonderful and she is very knowledgeable. I cannot say enough positive things about her and would highly recommend her. If I am ever in need of surgery, she would be the first doctor I would contact.

This is the most compassionate, and knowledgable MD that I've found in Milwaukee, since I moved from Manhattan two and a half years ago. Dr. Lal is a good listener, and answered all of my questions and concerns. She is a gem.

Dr Lal treated me with a great deal of kindness and courtesy, and took plenty of time to answer all my questions regarding my mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. She even asked what my plans were regarding reconstruction, and then recommended someone for the procedure that I had chosen. I will certainly seek her help if I ever need surgery again.
