Dr. Alyson Appleton has been practicing psychiatry since 2015, after graduating residency from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she served as chief resident. Prior to that she attended medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine and graduated cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.Before starting her solo private telepsychiatry practice, Dr. Appleton worked for a group private practice in Hilliard, OH then took a short break to travel the country with her husband, children, and dogs in an RV. It was an adventure!Dr. Appleton prides herself on being a relatable psychiatrist with extensive knowledge about psychiatric diagnoses and medications.
