Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:After an acute bout of appendicitis as a child requiring an extended hospital stay, I felt a strong calling to provide medical care to people in need so I could extend the same care/compassion that I was shown as a patient.What I want my patients to know about me:I have been a practicing physician assistant for more than 10 years. I greatly appreciate my profession and the ability to help members of the community improve their health and well-being. I have a passion for learning and continue to expand my knowledge in the advancing field of medicine.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy reading, crafting (sewing and crocheting), hiking, running, biking, kayaking and spending time with my husband and my pug dog.
