Dr. Alyssa Hazel, AUD, CCC-A

Alyssa Hazel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining Froedtert full time, Dr. Hazel spent an 8-week clinical internship at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Hospital in Denver, CO. She then spent a year-long clinical externship at Froedtert Hospital & the Medical College of Wisconsin where she gained extensive experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and tinnitus management/treatment.Dr. Hazel's care philosophy centers on a patient-first, holistic model. It begins with seeing each patient as a whole person, shaped by their unique experiences, values, beliefs, and environment. She strives to build meaningful, trusting relationships with her patients by taking the time to listen with empathy and understand their goals, concerns, and circumstances.
