Dr. Alyssa Engle, MD

Dr. Engle chose a career in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics because she enjoys caring for patients at all stages of their lives. She likes being able to work in different settings and with a variety of patients. Building strong relationships with her patients and being involved in their care is important to her. Dr. Engle's parents have been her biggest influences. They taught her the importance of hard work, following her passions, and making a difference in people's lives. These values guide her every day, and she loves knowing that she can have a positive impact on someone’s life. In her free time, Dr. Engle loves being outdoors. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, fishing, and gardening, especially when she can do these activities with her dog, River.A main goal in my medical practice is to uphold a humanistic approach - seeing every patient as a unique individual, maintaining an openness to different perspectives, and demonstrating empathy, honesty and respect.
