Absolutely Horrible and unprofessional so called "Doctor". Greedy and incompetent looking only to make money for the hospital, rather than providing quality care for sick children. I heard other horror stories from many families at the Ronald McDonald house across the street.

My daughter was admitted to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa and her care team was managed by Alyssa Stephany. She not only treated our family extremely rudely, but would not allow us to transfer our daughter to a hospital closer to home although she was medically stable after one week! She kept our daughter in the hospital out of total GREED in order to bill insurance for 6-1/2 weeks of stay!!! She should have been discharged after a week at one of the many treatment facilities we had contacted. Instead Alyssa Stephany demanded that we stop contacting subsequent treatment providers and reported us to Social Services for neglecting care of our daughter and interfering with her care!!! I knew this to be a scam by her especially because the patient census was very very low and after I reported my long list of concerns to the Patient Rights Dept., was treated even worse by Alyssa Stephany!!! She is by far thee most arrogant, rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional and… incompetent so called "Doctor" that I have EVER encountered, and we have seen hundreds of doctors over the years!! We will NEVER ever allow our daughter to be a patient at the Children's Hospital of Milwaukee again due entirely to Alyssa Stephany! She supposedly supervises young doctors in training, however does not have the capacity to handle her own position and should be eliminated from an otherwise good hospital and staff. Alyssa Stephany's "Procedures" in treating our daughter were almost entirely contrary to those at many treatment centers and other hospitals that my daughter has been in. Ultimately, my daughter's recovery was compromised and sabotaged due to Alyssa Stephany; she also cost our family nearly $8,000 in legal fees, medical bills, and unpaid leave from work. "Dr." Alyssa Stephany uses her position of power to manipulate the system in order to collect from insurance (and would constitute insurance "Fraud" I am sure), which only hurts the children and their families. Beware of her tactics...
