Dr. Amanda Jo Bradley, MD

Amanda Bradley saw my great-grandson at St. Alexius ER. My granddaughter had brought him in 2 other times and was sent home with a diagnosis of constipation and a simple I don't know what is wrong. Go see someone else. This was the 3rd time in 10 ten days and the little guy had gone from perfectly healthy to not being able to walk and then to not being able to walk and not being easily awakened. Bradley was not pleased to see him in the ER for the 3rd time and according to my grandchildren she had no problem showing it. Despite being told that there was something seriously wrong with the 4 year old she wouldn't listen. She asked why my granddaughter hadn't set up an appt. with another Dr. that was suggested to her. My granddaughter had tried to see this other Dr. but was told there were no appts. available and no indication from the ER that it was an emergency. Despite having arrived at the ER at 7:30 PM nothing was done until very late into the evening. There as a considerable amount… of discussion going on between the grandchildren and this Dr. and it didn't look good for the 4 year old but my grandson, uncle to the little one, would not give up and basically forced her hand into doing something. Bradley finally agreed to a cat scan but not of his spine or head, of his stomach. When nothing showed up on this scan the grandchildren believe she was going to send him home again. They argued for a scan of his spine and head because if he was made to walk he would stagger all over. They showed her this despite this causing the little guy pain. She finally agreed to a cat scan of his spine and head after asking him if anyone was hitting him in the head. She read the scan, came out and told the mother that there was a growth in the brain and he would have to be hospitalized until an MRI was done. Even though something serious was found Bradley still treated the mother rudely and must have passed on the information to other staff members because they also treated her with disdain. The MRI was done and results showed a large tumor in his head and a tumor that goes down the length of his spine. He has undergone brain surgery and will start radiation and chemotherapy in a few days. Be careful of this Dr., she has her opinion and won't listen to the parents.
