Dr.
Amanda Canto knows how to connect with patients. She’s got
the unique ability to listen to her patients and serve not only
as a dentist, but also as an artist.
And it doesn’t
hurt that she’s got a natural gift for sculpting teeth. A
leading expert in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Canto received
her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown,
Texas, and obtained her doctorate in Dental Surgery from The University
of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Participating in a full-year
private fellowship in Cosmetic Dentistry,she concentrated on the
specialized cosmetic procedures she has enjoyed performing for almost
two decades.
An international lecturer, she has been featured
in multiple media outlets, including New Beauty Magazine and on
FOX-TV’s Ambush Makeover. Dr. Canto is committed constantly
advancing her education by attending multiple prestigious advanced
continuing education programs including the …Las Vega Institute (LVI).
Dr. Canto serves as an expert source in Cosmetic Dentistry for various
news agencies.
Committed to creating some of the most rejuvenated,
confident smiles around the world, Dr. Canto understands how important
self image can be in a city that emphasizes international culture
and personal appearance. She has participated in the “Give
Back a Smile” program, dedicated to providing cosmetic dental
care at no cost to survivors of domestic violence and sponsored
by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). She has also
provided more than $30,000 in services to at-risk youth through
her own “Gift of a Smile” program, coordinated with
Houston’s own Window of Opportunity Foundation.
Dr. Canto is a member of numerous dental organizations
and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys traveling, cycling,
scuba diving, photography and especially being a mom.
