Dr. Amanda Marie Cook, MD

Dr. Cook is the most caring, compassionate, personable doctor I have ever seen. She helped me when my issue wasn't even eye related! Today, with many doctors, your shuffled in and out, not with Dr. Cook, She truly is awesome! I highly recommend her!

Rarely, do you hear about people having complications during cataract surgery. I did; and I am so thankful that I had Dr. Cook and her years of experience to fix my problem. The right eye surgery was perfect. The left eye was the challenge. Apparently, I was born without the little fibers that hold the new lens in place. Dr. Cook literally had to build a gasket to keep the lens in place. The surgery was over an hour long and I thank God that she had the knowledge to know how to fix the problem. I am so grateful to her! Thanks Dr. Cook!

Dr. Cook is a caring eye doctor and I am very comfortable with her as you know by being a patient of hers that she is very kind n listens to your concerns and worries. She is very detailed in what she does

Dr. Cook removed cataracts from both my eyes in summer 2014. She mistakenly inserted WRONG lens in right eye. About a week later, when she removed wrong lens to insert correct lens, she damaged my eye. My suffering was agonizing. I could not tolerate light and had horrible headaches for months. She assured me that all would go back to normal in one year. i trusted her. When I went to second ophthalmologist for pain, he told me the reason for light sensitivity was because part of my iris was gone. Dr. Cook never told me that she was responsible for that. Three years later, that eye is still EXTREMELY sensitive to light, .and it is STILL inflamed. Then when i had prescription filled for eye glasses, I could not see through the lens! She wrote the WRONG eye glasses prescription! She did not charge me for second surgery on right eye, but hospital did charge me for the surgery. She ignored my request reimburse me for hospital charges.
