Summary
As a healthcare provider, I believe it's important to empower patients by giving them education that promotes a healthy lifestyle and allows them to assist in managing their health outcomes. This occurs through open communication and by building long-lasting, trusting provider-patient relationships. Prior to joining WellMed in 2017, I spent more than seven years caring for patients as a RN in labor and delivery and women's health. However, my passion for disease prevention and my desire to educate the community about wellness motivated me to pursue additional training as a family nurse practitioner. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and three children. We love being outdoors, staying active and traveling.
