Dr. Amanda Helen Feusner, MD

Dr. Feusner whom I found to be very competent and professional was AMAZING. She saved our son's life and was very empathetic and comforting when my wife was distressed and upset. She seemed to have genuinely cared not only about my son but for my wife and me as well and personally followed up with us to see how he was doing. We were equally impressed by how the staff spoke so positively about her. I find it hard to find such compassion and empathy from doctors and workers in general. If I were to ever have an emergency I would pray that Dr. Feusner was the one treating me.

Dr. Feusner saw my son at the Morton Plant emergency room stated the hospital could not treat him, prescribed drugs and left, my son is 1 year old. We declined the drugs and were still charged $930 by Dr. Feusner in addition to over $2,000 from Morton Plant. We were transferred to Tampa General without treatment from Morton Plant.

I never received a bill for my ER visit with Dr. Hidalgo. Rather, I received a letter from a collections agency. I tried contacting the billing department only to be told that there was nothing they could do to avoid negative impact on my credit score now that the bill was turned over to collections. Due to the amount of my copay being under $100, I am hopeful that there will be no adverse effect, but overall this was a very unpleasant experience.

Dr Feusner seen me in the er at Dunedin Mease last night and she was very through with my care and she was also caring and gentle.Dr Feusner also made sure that my lab results came back quickly to make sure we knew what was causing my issues. I would hope that the next time I have to go there for emergency care she would be my er Dr again and the staff she had with her was wonderful and caring as well.
