I have been seeing this doctor for 2 years . I have chronic back pain from degenerative disc disease and other health issues. I have been on opioid pain medication for 4 years to help relieve the pain so that I may work. I had to sign a contract agreement to receive this medication, she does random urines and random pill counts to make sure this medication is not being abused. She tested my urine many times and once I had a faint negative and the other time was negative. There are times when I take my meds and times when I don’t. This medication does make me drowsy. It really depends on the pain level that day. I saw her last week and she said to me, “ sorry you broke your contract and I am no longer prescribing you medication. You don’t look or act like an addict but some people hide it better than others.” Now if she would have asked for a pill count she would have seen That I had pills and I am not overusing them. I have been on this medication for 4 years and she just takes… me off with out weening me slowly . I am in a lot of pain , it’s hard to work , hard to function. She is a horrible doctor. I have been experiencing pain in my right abdomen for 2 months and she still hasn’t gotten around to getting me in to get a ct scan like she said she would. I will never go back to her or that clinic again.
