Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I was drawn to the nursing profession because both of my grandmothers worked in healthcare and from a young age I have looked up to them. I've always enjoyed caring for people and helping to improve their lives. In addition, anatomy and physiology has always fascinated me. Medicine has allowed me to combine my two passions to benefit others.What I want my patients to know about me:I started my career with WellSpan Health in 2016 as a Registered Nurse in the York Hospital Operating Room. My nursing background has been entirely dedicated towards the care of surgical patients. I have a passion for helping people, especially in the most uncertain and vulnerable of times. I have acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge from my time in the operating room, and I look forward to using those skills to benefit my patients.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending quality time with my husband and two Siberian huskies. I enjoy trips …in our camper, going on hikes, and visiting new breweries and wineries.
