Dr. Amanda Rachel Kirzner, DO

Dr. Kirzner was my appointed physician on Noom, a weight loss and health program, who prescribed my GLP-1 medication. I had no issues with her as a doctor or with Noom as a program for the first few months. My medication was dispensed on time, delivered from the pharmacy, and I was losing weight with the help of the medication, along with a new diet and exercise regime, had no side effects, and was feeling great. The issues began when Dr. Kirzner changed my medication, adding additives that I had an adverse reaction to. I reached out to her twice on the app, expressing my concerns, and requesting if we could go back to the normal, initial formulation that I had paid for and had results with, with no side effects. She ignored my messages and forwarded them to the "care team". The care team refused to send me the initial formulation. I called the main number and was able to get a full refund (I had paid for the next three months and had only received the one dosage, which is the one I… had an adverse reaction to.) By the time I had hung up the phone, Noom had deleted all of my messages from the app and essentially shut me out of everything- kind of like when you get laid off from a job and your email is immediately disabled. Disappointed with the ethics of this "doctor" who is somehow a obesity medicine specialist, an anesthesiologist, a self proclaimed entrepreneur, and a physician advisor all in one- who is clearly unresponsive to patients, somehow certified in nine different states, and is working for Noom as a cash grab.
