Dr Amanda Knapp, MD

Dr. Amanda Knapp is originally from McCook, NE, and was excited to return to the good life. Dr. Knapp received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and graduated from the Honors Program. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010 and completed a pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO in 2013. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Following residency, Dr. Knapp was an attending physician and Associate Professor at Children's Mercy in Overland Park, KS, and was an active member of the Quality Improvement committee.  She joined LPG in January 2018. 
She is married to Ryan and has two young daughters who keep her on her toes and continue to make her a better pediatrician. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, crafting, and KC BBQ.  Dr. Knapp loves watching children grow and is excited to build a practice in Lincoln where …she can help parents care for their kids from birth to young adulthood.
