Dr. Amanda Deann Martin, DO

I recently had rotator cuff and biceps tendon repair performed by Dr. Martin, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Before recommending surgery, Dr. Martin took the time to try conservative treatments to see if surgery could be avoided. When it became clear that surgery was necessary, she thoroughly explained the entire process so I knew what to expect. Leading up to surgery I had some questions and called her office several times. Dr. Martin and her staff were always patient, kind, and very thorough in answering my questions. My recovery has been going very well, and at my first post-op appointment Dr. Martin took the time to answer all my questions and explain the procedures she performed, even showing me pictures. I’m incredibly grateful for the excellent care I received and for Dr. Martin helping me get back to being active and pain-free. She truly is a rock star!

I had to see Dr Martin after dislocating my kneecap. They told me she was booked but called back after talking to her and squeezed me in between her surgeries. She came over to the office after a surgery and saw me between her cases. I would have expected her to be in a hurry. She wasn't. She introduced herself as Amanda and sat down in a chair with her legs tucked under her and made eye contact with me like I was the only patient she had that day. She let me tell the WHOLE story without interupting and then asked questions and then did exam. She showed my XRAY to me and drew a picture explaining exactly what the problem was. I have never interacted with anyone like that before. She told me she wanted me to feel like an expert and answered all of our questions. I had surgery last year and she called me after surgery to check on me over the weekend. She saw me herself at every apointment and walked me through expectations for the next two weeks. She was amazing. Their might be alot… of good surgeons but I've never met a person like that. My husband said she must really view the job as her service to the world because she is so loving and caring for you through the whole process.

I have been going to Dr. Martin for over a year now and she is the best doctor/surgeon I have ever been to! She will make you feel like you are her only patient, and she always goes above and beyond for anything you might need. I have cerebral palsy and have been going to doctors my whole life and she far surpasses any other doctor I have dealt with. She is extremely smart and knowledgeable, but is also the most caring and personable doctor I've ever been to. Could not recommend her more!

I am so please with her shoulder procedures on both shoulders that I have recommended her to anyone who has injuries in their shoulders, knees, hips, etc.

Dr Martin is smart and very educational. She taught me about my knee and made me understand what was wrong and how WE were going to fix it. I felt like I had a voice and like she and Baylee cared

Staff told me she was too busy to see my son that day and offered appointment the next day. She called herself and told me just to bring him in since he's an athlete (she called herself. Not an assistant!)

super smart and so nice I thought she might have been the nurse at first because she was so sweet

Super smart but made everything easy to understand both for my son who is in high school (football injury) and my husband and me. She made diagrams, gave us reading, gave my son homework and made us feel like we were the most important thing she had to do that day. Class act.

Dr Martin is the only doctor who I will let take care of my kids and I will go wherever she goes. She fixed my sons shoulder and daughters hip. Both play college sports. She and her staff make you feel like you are just as important as the professional athletes she sees. She calls you herself on nights and weekends to check on you and makes sure nobody leaves the office without knowing exactly what is wrong and what needs to be done.
