on my first visit she spent 45 mins. with me. I feel like a friend not a No.

I appreciate that she listens to what I have to say. Take time with me and has a plan to get from where we are to where I need to be. I would recommend her to anyone. Test results and prescriptions can take to long, But that's not really a reflection on the Doc. She's doing her job, somewhere down the line something is getting dropped.

Dr. McBane is a friendly doctor but clearly whenever you have an issue, you talk to her nurse. Her nurse is the most unfriendly women I have met and after calling numerous times about a new prescription that was making me sick, she ignored my calls and said she never got them. This practice also lost my blood work, yet I never got a call about my results or the fact that it was lost. Every time you show up to this practice you always end up waiting for at least an hour to even be recognized, no matter how sick you are. Although Dr. McBane is friendly, it is hard to recognize it enough since her nurse is the most unpleasant and unprofessional thing you will ever deal with.

If you are looking for an office to handle the common cold, it's acceptable. If you have a serious concern ie: breast lump; chest pain -then I would highly recommend you seek another physician's office. If you have had diagnostic tests, prepare to make a half a dozen calls for your results. I have a history of breast issues including biopsy and I was waiting for the office to fax my mammogram so the breast surgeon could schedule a consult. I am still waiting days later. Illness makes a patient vulnerable and dependent on medical expertise and compassion., this fact isn't recognized by the staff at Daphne Family Practice. Be informed, would you want to worry about a breast lump for a month?
