Dr. Amanda Marie Meulenberg, MD

My appointment with Dr. Meulenberg was for a standard check up. She spent time with me and answered my questions thoroughly and provided me with a sample to make sure it would work for me. Ultimately it was what I would expect out of any doctor. Knowledgeable, direct and helpful.

I saw this doctor because my regular doctor was unavailable. I was in a lot of pain from a UTI and the medication was not working - she told me that the medication I was on works 95% of the time and would not change it. I had to run to my GP to get a different med and a new culture done - turns out the infection I had was resistant to the drug I was on so it never would have worked. Meanwhile, this doctor never even followed up to find out how I was doing, and never called with the results of the urine culture I did there which must have showed the same thing. Had I not gone to my GP, the infection could have traveled up to my kidneys and made me very sick. I had never met this doctor before but I will never see her again. I am considering changing out of the practice as I can't believe they would hire someone so irresponsible.
