Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I've been interested in medicine from a young age as my mother worked in a local family practice office. My interest in the sciences and medicine in general flourished in high school, where I made the decision to further pursue a career in medicine. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy traveling, especially out west to the national parks. My favorite national parks (although it is hard to pick a favorite) are Zion in Utah and Glacier in Montana. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
