Dr. Amanda Reagan Schiefer, MD

Though seemingly knowledgeable, my appointments with her were extremely rushed and no time was taken to explain anything. My first appointment lasted about ten minutes and there was no opportunity to ask any questions. My second appointment was even worse.I am much worse off than went I initially began with her. Their office requires payment in advance and has an additional service charge of you pay with a credit or debit card.

I visited Dr. Shiefer a few months ago, and not only is she a most considerate, caring and compassionate physician, she is a wonderful lady whose professionalism outshines many others in ANY field... Thank you for allowing me to have the pleasure of becoming a client... I have Lung Cancer, which has spread to other parts of my body, but she was so sweet and comforting, that I left her with a calmness in my heart... My wife goes in for a confirmed pituitary tumor. Dr goes off into left field. Starts talking about Celiac disease, gluten allergy, and cortisol levels. Doesn’t discuss the pituitary tumor. We explained all of her symptoms. She is more concerned about her opinion and thoughts. Does a $1000.00 worth of bloodwork. Takes 14 vials on blood. Results on bloodwork comes back normal except high growth hormone level. Does not advise any treatment or follow up on pituitary. Refers us to GI doctor. DO NOT USE THIS QUACK!!!!

Chose her on reviews thought she would help me with my Type 2 Diabetes that I have been managing for 16 yrs with a Medical Dr. Decided to try an Endo again. I had a great conversation with Dr. S. She put me on a daily shot of victoza. Now mind you I am NOT a shot person, but I trusted her .... This drug made me so sick I had uncontrollable vomiting and felt as though I was going to pass out. My family called 911 and I was checked out and told it was the victoza. So I called left a message for Dr. S and her Nurse called me back and stated to cut the dosage back. I decided to research this drug on Google and found that over 400 people have died from this drug mostly with panceatic cancer caused from the drug. I started the drug in Feb , other than her nurse calling me back to lower the dosage, I have NOT heard from this DR. or her nurse to check on me to see if I am even alive. REALLY Scheifer !!!! I dont know who this caring Dr. is that others wrote about.

After years of struggling with different issues and having doctors recognize that something was wrong, but not being able to diagnosis anything I visited Dr. Schiefer. She was able to get my hypothyroidism under control and referred me to a rheumatologist. I have psoriatic arthritis and Hashimoto's disease and am on medicines that are helping, greatly. Dr. Schiefer is patient and takes her time with patients. I would recommend her to all my family and friends.

Awesome Doctor!!!!! Awesome person she took the time to listen to me. Best doctor ever. Hope I never have to use anyone else.

SHE GOT ME ON TRACK WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES WHEN ALL THE OTHERS COULD NOT JIMMY MORGAN

At my age (middle 70s), I have been to many health care facilitators who gave correct diagnoses and shared their verbal prognoses with their patient in well, clinical directness. Dr. Amanda Schiefer, an exception to clinical directness, explains in one on one, eye to eye communication! Thank you, Dr. Schiefer - if I have to have diabetes - well then, I am so thankful to be your patient.

She always listens to my concerns...always makes time for me

I'm a terrible patient, however Dr. Schiefer has been so understanding , supportive and caring about my diabetes. She turned my disease around by immediately finding the correct treatment for me on my first visit. Her staff is always great and responds each time I need answers to any question by phone. Amazing how much time she gives to each patient and how quickly she catches other issues you may not be aware of. She will always be my favorite doctor.
