Dr. Amanda Rene Titus, MD

I have NEVER had an experience with any physician like I had with Dr. Titus. Not only would she not even look me in the eye, she was very dismissive of everything I had to say, to the point of being almost argumentative. My primary care sent me to her current office (I later found out that she did not know Dr Titus was practicing there) because I am clearly having auto-immune related issues that need a rheumatologist's expertise. When I tried to explain to her things that are going on with me, she discounted every bit of it and told me to go see a dermatologist (which I had already done), told me she would order bloodwork and IF there was anything I needed to know from that she would have someone call me. She then promptly left the room without even giving me an opportunity to ask questions or get any further information from her. When I went back to my primary care doc to discuss all this, she apologized, saying that if she had known Dr Titus was practicing there she never would… have sent me. She said she has heard stories similar to mine from several patients.

I have been with Dr. Titus for over a year now, I was diagnosis with RA by my PCP when I was 54 yrs young. It has skip a generation but I have it now. I hand picked Dr. Titus for my treatment. Dr. Titus has been great with listening to my concerns since this is all new to me. My appointments go right on time and I am not rushed, staff is awesome as well. Dr. Titus has a on line portal to discuss any concerns you may have or if you forgot to ask at appointment, this on line portal can be used to ask questions any time of the day and Dr. Titus will get back with you in a timely manner. Dr. Titus is great at treating my disease to where my life can be comfortable with little or no pain (except for the weather changes....UGH!). I realize Dr. Titus is here to help with treatment and to make life more manageable as far as movement and pain. Not all treatments are cooking cutters, one size does not fit all, you also need to become diligent and proactive with yourself along with the… information Dr. Titus recommends. She can't do it all for us.... I am very please to have someone who will be with me for a while as Dr. Titus continues her practice.

I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for over 2 years with worsening symptoms and was referred to Dr. Titus by my pcp. I waited for 8 months to get into her office all for a 5 minute conversation full of unuseful knowledge and absolutely no answers to a single issue at all. She seemed genuinely confused and unfamiliar with the problems which she should have said so instead of telling me to download a meditation app and invest in deep tissue massages. I am truly disappointed in my visit and am looking for a new rheumatologist with more experience. Thanks for nothing.

Didn’t listen , ignored my symptoms. Wouldn’t help.
