Dr. Amanda Jane Wirth, MD

I love the nurse practitioners and PA's at this office. However, if you are scheduled to see Dr. Wirth, be prepared to wait at least an hour. When you actually do get to see her, she is a great doctor. But my most recent experience really made me not want to go back. I had an appointment with a PA who confirmed I needed a very simple procedure (IUD replacement, something I had gone through before). So when I went to schedule it, they wanted me back for a consultation with Dr. Wirth. The visit with the PA apparently wasn't enough. So they scheduled me for the consultation (TWO WEEKS OUT), meaning that the procedure I needed wouldn't be able to take place til who knows when. I was able to schedule an IUD replacement at the University of Utah less than a week later. So if you have plenty of time, can wait at least a month for what you really need, and don't mind waiting at least an hour in the waiting room, you'll be fine, but if any of that doesn't sound good, I'd suggest either seeing a… different person at this office or going somewhere else.

My opinion Amanda Wirth is one of the best doctors I have ever had, she is personable she gets to know you, your body as well as your mind., which gives you the opportunity to be in-tune with you self and self worth,. I believe Thank you isn't enought. God Bless you Amanda and staff

I have been a patient of Dr. Wirth for over 12 years. She has always treated me with respect and been an empathetic listener. I believe Dr. Wirth treats her patients like they are her family. I would and have recommended Dr. Wirth to anyone seeking a Family Practice Physician.

Usually overcrowded, hence long waiting times in non overly glamorous area Receptionists are overworked and could definitely use a break to improve their manners Nurse#1 attempted 3 times to draw blood, then called Nurse#2 after realizing she wasn't able to do it Doc is good in having referrals printed out, otherwise extremely superficial in approaching health issues with very distant and condescending attitude - patients leave clinic with the feeling their concerns have not been properly addressed

Dr. Wirth and her staff were exceptionally friendly, prompt, professional, and courteous. I have started seeing Dr. Wirth because of a refferal from a friend. I will definitely recommend her to family and friends.

I travel 3+ hours to see Dr. Wirth because of her reputation and concern for her patients. She is thorough in her diagnosis and continues in her follow up appointments. I spend the winters in California and would fly if necessary to discuss any problems I have. I will wait to see here for my follow up when I return. She is "WIRTH" IT!
