Dr. Amanda Man Wu, MD

Dr. Wu is my Dr for 23 years. And I Love Her so much, She takes care of me for all these years. And many years ago, when any Dr found, what be my health problem, She is the only one that found what it is. After that I am never change for another Dr.

I have been with Dr Wu for over 10 years and have had nothing but great care from her over the years. She is always running late but isn't that the sign of a good doctor who spends more time with you than others to make sure you get the best care. most of the bad reveiws are from entitled people that think they are more important than the next person and should be the highest priority no matter what. I have never been to a doctor or Dentist or any healthcare facility where they din't ask for co-pay up front. Most have a sign on the front desk saying payment is expected prior to service. Everyone thinks this is a free service and for get that a medical or other service is still a business and businesses are in business to make money. Why is that a 1 star review, maybe it's because it was written by a 1 star person

My review done on May 12, 2023. Of all the doctors I have had, she is the one I am the most confident with managing my health care. She gives me that confidence with the best preventative medicine care of all the doctors in my past. She does not act as if I have to be hustled out of her office so she may see the next patient in the waiting room. Because of this, I have to respect when other patients are being seen before me, so I understand there are days the waiting may not be at the appointed time because I know she cares for her patients and treats them the same. I am also nearing the twenty-year mark of her managing my health care and remember that every incident in my care was positively and quickly addressed and treated, whether I was sent to specialists, such as a urologist, or out for x-rays, MRIs, or an ophthalmologist. I also notice when a particular ailment strikes me and requires medication, she starts at the lowest dosages and closely monitors me to avoid, or at the very… least, minimize any unpleasant side effects and is not only ready to switch to another medication if the need arises, as I attest this has happened to me. So, to summarize. My perspective is that she is excellent at what she does and ensures I have the best possible preventative care as long as I heed what she recommends, and in doing so, I get to enjoy the time I have in my life with the best health possible for me. After all, what else is there of such importance? My review for today June 17, 2025 My previous review of Dr. Wu was done in 2023. She has since supported and helped me through two total hip replacement operations that needed to be done. As expected, she coordinated with my hip surgeon through both operations that had a five-month space in between each of them. We kept track of my normal medications as well as my quarterly blood test evaluations for my sustained health wellness. This also included medications that were required for both operations. I have recovered from both operations and am happy to say that my confidence in both operations was very successful and that the limitations and pain of worn-out hip joints are no longer a concern of mine. As was mentioned in my previous review, she remains excellent at what she does and ensures I have the best possible preventative care as long as I heed what she recommends, and in doing so, I get to enjoy the time I have in my life with the best health possible for me. After all, what else is there of such importance?

I have been seeing Dr. Wu for seven (7) years now and couldn't be happier. She is thorough and takes time to understand why you are there. She listens to my requests and we chat about the best way to treat them. She nor her staff have NEVER asked for money and insurance claims have always been handled promptly. Additionally she is a dermatologist and that eliminates going to another specialist and a money savings thing too.(No additional copays) I find it easy to talk freely with her even though I am a man. Sometimes there a little longer wait time but I haven't had a problem with it because I know she is treating other patients with the same care as myself. I hope to have many more years seeing her for my best health.

I set an appointment with Dr. Wu and it almost took two hours to see her. I was required to pay a deposit of $130 dollars in case my insurance company would not cover the cost of my visit. When my insurance company did cover the cost, the office staff assured me that they would refund my money. I am still waiting after four months. I will never recommend this this medical firm to anyone. Be careful

I have been going to Dr. Wu for nearly three years and although she is busy and you sometimes have to wait a little bit, she takes her time with you and does a thorough and caring job.

I had my first visit today at this office and the only complaint i had is the long wait, other than that the staff was great and the Doctor actually listened to my problems

This office is very unprofessional. My lab work must go to specific lab. They sent it there 2 times prior with no problem. Third visit they draw blood send it to wrong lab and I receive a $1,000 bill. Still trying to straighten it out. Be careful.

Had my first visit with Dr Woo yesterday she's very cool really liked her she spent a lot of time with my wife ànd I seemed genuinely concerned with my several health issues and worked with with my wife and myself formulating a care plan getting on the road to a speedy recovery. Thanks Dr Woo and your staff!
