Excellent Doctor and Team!

Dr Yunker is amazing. She always listens and gives me my best options for my needs.

I waited for this appointment with Dr. Yunker for a few months. However I was treated by one of her fellows. When Dr yunker actually came into the room she showed very little interest and let the fellow take the lead on everything. She refused to believe I have endo and just kept saying g it's just pelvic pain and you need to do therapyshe never did an exam and just went by what her fellow said. I'm extremely disappointed in my visit and left feeling like I was looked over and gas lighted

Dr yunker was truly amazing through this whole process. I'm so happy she helped me but sad I won't have any more reasons to see her :)

I love Dr Yunker. I have been struggling for years with pelvic pain and I feel like I finally found someone that helped. He is patient, great with explanations and super down to earth. She is honest and has squeezed me in multiple times when I have had issues. Love her and her team!

Did not perform a post op appointment after surgery and did not return phone calls during surgical complications

I waited months to see Dr Yunker, only to have most of the time spent with a student. When I did finally speak with Dr Yunker and student together they seemed puzzled how I could still be in pain after having 3 surgeries for endometriosis or continue to have bowel issues after an extensive negative GI work up. Yunker asks if this is something in my head I think I need to do to move forward with my life, because she doesn’t think I have endometriosis. I have no idea how she is on Nancy’s Nook when she doesn’t realize endo causes GI issues, pelvic pain and isn’t always black in color. I provided all of the same information to another nook dr and the diagnosis was quite different, extensive endo on bladder, uereters, abdominal wall, bowel, and rectum. Also pics I provided from previous surgeries showed non typical endo. And I have the remains of the ovary that was removed that needs to be addressed. I thank God everyday that dr Yunker was such a poor doctor so I ended up with the… RIGHT dr!

Not only did she refuse to see me inpatient, but she also sent me off to several referrals in vanderbilt... all of whom refused care. They ignored multiple medical documents, ultrasounds, etc.. I provided. Then when she (after a year+) finally deigned to see me in person, she stated she was 'uncomfortable' with me as a patient. Refused to see me anymore as her doctor? Really? Folks, if you were born slightly differently from the norm? Please don't waste your time. Oh, and the same medical issues you never evaluated doctor, that I went to you in the first place for are getting worse. Horrible treatment.
