Dr. Amar Qadir Majjhoo, MD

I've been seeing Dr Majjhoo since 2007, when I was diagnosed with Lupus. I initially thought he was too young! I was a mess when I went to him, scared about having this disease. His calming demeanor helped me to get a grip! He is thoughtful, caring and a great provider. He's suggested studies that would be good for me. He's not afraid to try new meds and so far that have helped me. I'm glad he's my doctor!

I have seen Dr. Majjoo and his staff twice. Prior to seeing Dr. Majjoo I seen two other rheumatologists and was feeling very hopeless as to finding a diagnosis for my pain. There was a year of time I simply thought I was going to have to deal with the pain on my own. Then I was referred to Dr. Majjoo. I was hesitant to start over again with a new rheumatologist but so glad I did. I can't say enough about how sweet and helpful his staff were as well as I finally received a diagnosis with treatment. I feel amazing. Dr. Majjoo and staff are wonderful. So Thankful!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Majjhoo for quite some time now but before I found him I had a doctor in the same field that spent 2 years telling me that I did not have RA and kept testing me to find out what was going on because in his words "There is definitely something going on - I just don't know what". At my first visit I gave Dr. Majjhoo copies of all my tests/charts, he had blood taken, and 2 weeks later at my followup appt he confirmed what I KNEW all along - I had RA. Sometimes I do feel rushed in the appointments but there are those days.....out of anybody's control and he is always extremely apologetic when those days happen. Best doctor EVER!!!

I think he seems like he's always rushed. Needs to take on less patients.

Dr Majjhoo is great. He takes what you say seriously, and really tries to get down to the bottom of it. I sure don't care for his M.A. Amela though. She's very nice, and gives fantastic injections (they don't hurt), but she usually takes a month or more for a prior authorization. She is full of excuses. She tells me she sent in the information to my insurance, but when I call my insurance, they never have what she says she sent. She's frustrating enough that I've considered finding a new doctor only because of her.

The office is so friendly. Dr Majjhoo listens, takes the time to fully understand, compassonate and knowledgeable. Becky NP, has the same commpasion as Dr Majjhoo. Amela is very kind, knows her job and takes care of her .patients. She welcomes you with her knid smile and I never feel her injections.! I have and will always recommend thsDoctor. ***** all the way around

First rheumatologist who said "you're not crazy" He never dismisses how severe my pain levels are and tries to help as much as possible. First rheumy to also take interest and actually X-ray to find I also have osteoarthritis. He has never judged me for being young with these issues which many other drs have. Terrific bed side manor as well as time spent listening to everything going on. Once you're a regular patient appts are easy to get and there is never a long wait in the office. His assistant is always on top of things as well as tried her best to assist with whatever issue is going on without just saying make an appt. I would HIGHLY recommend this dr! Especially if you have fibromyalgia because a few other "best rheumies" I've had were awful and super judgmental. I'm extremely glad I found him a few years ago! My treatment has been beyond amazing since switching to him!

Dr. Majjhoo was excellent. This particular type of specialty practice does take a little while to get in. It isn't the doctor's fault. It isn't the patients fault. Good doctors are worth waiting for. He reassured me that I wasn't crazy (lol) and gave me his honest thoughts and opinions regarding my situation. He ordered tests to rule out anything that may have been "hiding" because symptoms can all too often be the same for 10 different problems. What I liked the most was his bedside manner. He listened and actually seemed interested in what I was describing. He didn't just write me a prescription and send me on my way. He is approachable and has a good sense of humor. Dr. Majjhoo was also able to break things down and explain them in a context that was comfortable and understandable (I've had many doctors that could not).

Dr Majjhoo is great. Listens, conservative, explains things. His old assistant, Marlo was great also. But now he has a new assistant. Amella I think her name is. She isn't great about returning calls, or calling in prescriptions or refills.I much preferred Marlo.

Highly recommend! Most kind, courteous and empathetic doctor I have seen to date.
