Dr. Amar Patel

Dr. Patel was fantastic! He treated my son for heel pain and we had a great experience. Dr. Patel has a great bedside manner and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend him.

I just hit the 4 year post-surgery mark! After 24 years of pounding pavement by running in the Air Force, and then a post office job finally did my left ankle in with tendon reconstruction on both sides, and some Talus cartilage repair. The job his staff and himself did at the Lees Summit location was phenomenal in all areas...from reception and out through the door, the best care I have ever had. I would travel cross country to see him again if I needed the right ankle worked on ( I still run by the way). Thanks again to his team!

My experience with Dr. Patel was excellent in every aspect. He basically saved my life by repairing and injury that could have eeasily ended my ability to provide for myself and my family. He made me feel like I was being cared for by an old family friend. He listened to me and my family and addressed every concern and question brilliantly. His staff played a huge part in making me feel like I was getting the best care possible. I feel extremely fortunate to have been referred to this doctor. He is not only the best doctor I've ever had, he is also (imho) a world class surgeon. I could go on and on.... I hope I never need his services again, but if I or any of my family ever need an orthopedic specialist, he's my guy!

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. He is very thorough and makes sure you fully understand/are comfortable with his diagnosis and plan. The only drawback is the wait time. I believe he is the only foot and ankle specialist at Rockhill, but waiting 3 hours is steep.

Dr. Patel is great. He is younger so up with the newest technologies and methods, but definitely knowledgeable in what he is doing. Dr. Patel does everything possible to cure you without having to do surgery, but is not afraid to do extensive surgeries to correct the issue, the right way. He is awesome! 24 yo Female with Tarsel Tunnel Syndrome, Brachymetatarsia, and multiple stress fractures.

I saw Dr. Patel after being treated by another ortho. I had a broken foot and the other ortho had told me to walk on it and wear normal shoes. Six months after my fracture the other ortho told me my foot was healed. I told him that it still hurt and he said that he didn't know why. I went to see Dr. Patel and he had me get an MRI. He found that the foot wasn't healed and I just had surgery. If I had seen Dr. Patel in the beginning I would not have suffered pain for the past year. He is kind, caring, easy to talk to, and cares.

Dr. Patel is sincere and truly cares for his patients and their well being.
